Its important for your learning process to be comfortable in your accommodation.
Cheap hostels, with opened bars all night, noisy corridors, and shared rooms are not the best place to choose if you want to learn.
You need at least 3 extra hours for your oun learning in order to take advantage of your Spanish classes.

Casadeavila, the school grounds and hotel, offers you an independent accommodation option in this beautiful place. At just three blocks from Main Square and with all the facilities you need to have a comfortable learning environment.
Choose between a shared (two students) or private room with private bathroom, cable TV, WiFi, linnen changing every other day and breakfast included. You are also entitled to use Internet in the cafeteria and the nice spaces to study like the garden, reading room, etc.
A half pension plan is avaliable from Monday thru Friday. But many restaurants are available close to the school or hotel.
This is the choice for couples and independent travellers wishing to enjoy their staying at their oun pace.
Homestaying with a local family
We choose families living around and close to the School in order to keep an eye on your security and supervise the conditions offered. Your family will provide a private room and usually a shared bathroom. Accomodation also includes breakfast and one meal (Monday to Saturday). Most of the selected families are middle class, which are the equivalent of an educated family in the States or Europe.
Your family receives your profile in order to know your expectations. They will also be aware of what are you studying, in order to help you and be a compliment to your classes. You should also be aware that our Peruvian families are traditional, so some home rules have to be respected

For those of you who are plannig to take a long term course (4 + weeks) or are planning to do some volunteer job or simply stay in Arequipa for a while, we offer the Appartment or Hose renting program.
Renting thru our school has some advantages: you are not charged as a foreinger by the owner and any dispute about renting conditions is lead to us. If you want us to find and appartment or house for you, just email us with your requirements.
