Arequipa is the second important city of Perú. It's a typical andean city and an excellent place to acclimate yourself to the culture of Latin america. A mixture between a modern and a traditional city with cultural, historical and ecological attractions.

No "tourist pollution" as in Cusco . Locals treat visitants very naturally and accept them to share their daily activities. You will be familiarized with the local routines very fast. Books exchange, great restaurants, parks, sports, and excellent medical services in case you need them.

Visit Santa Catalina´s convent, a city within a city; or Andean Sanctuary museum. Eat delicious typical food. Climb Misti volcano or take a downhill ride at Chachani volcano. Meet the Andean Condor in Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world. See thousands of flamingos getting ready for their migration fly to north.
